Dispromotion adalah sebuah konsep promosi yang tidak mempromosikan. Dalam arti, dalam berpromosi kita bersikap (berpikir, berkata dan melakakukan segala sesuatu yang kita anggap pantas, perlum mampu & sempat) secara positif untuk mencapai jumlah penjualan yang optimal, bukan maksimal, dengan landasan orientasi kearah tujuan happiness bukan profit. Dalam dispromotion kita hanya menguraikan kebaikan-kebaikan produk-produk/jasa-jasa yang kita tawarkan, tapi justru secara jujur & ramah senantiasa memaparkan kejelekan-kejelekan dan kelemahannya. Dispromotion adalah sebuah konsep promosi yang hanya bisa dan pantas dilakukan oleh kita (mereka) yang sebenarnya sudah merasa bersyukur terhadap apa-apa yang sudah berhasil kita (mereka) capai, sehingga kita (mereka) tidak terlalu ambisius lagi dalam meningkatkan jumlah penjualan atau profit secara drastis dan maksimal. Tahun 2001, mendapatkan penghargaan Enterprize 50 dari SWAsembada. Tahun 2002, dinobatkan sebagai Sang Paradoks oleh Majalah Manajemen.
